Rogue Traders are notoriously tight-lipped as to the true extent of their holdings, and so a detailed information network is required to keep track on everyone – allies and enemies alike. The Serrated Query are the unofficial name of the information and assassination branch of the Cold Trade. Though it would be easy to view them as nothing more than simple assassins, they are also known to infiltrate and shape organisations that deal with the Cold Trade, and guide them into positions which are advantageous to their masters.
