Special Abilities: A Cursed Artefact recovered from the Dark Eldar, it emits an aura that is alluring to its enemies, and rewards success to its wielder, but punishes failure.
- Alluring: Any attempt to Dodge or Parry attacks from this weapon take a -10 penalty.
- * Temperamental*: When the wielder succeeds on a Test with this item, they gain +10 to the next Test made with this item. Conversely if they fail a Test with this item, they gain a -10 to the next test made with this item.
Bio:
The Saynay Clan are a group of infamous Chaos Raiders that pillaged the Koronus Expanse, and more specifically The Foundling Worlds for decades. Recently attacks from that clan have fallen off, and the common speculation is that they suffered a series of losses and have been forced to recoup their strengths.
The Promise of Agony appears to have held one of their legendary war weapons. Humming slightly with the promise of both pain and pleasure, it was a dangerous artifact for the cursed xenos to bear. Following their death, it has fallen into the hands of Jequin Hos, matching nicely with his other Chaos Axe.
