Although primarily piloting the In Purgatio Lumen is handled by Maturinus of Navis Nobilite House Pazzano, he cannot always be at the helm of his vessel either due to lending his prodigious intellect to the firing of the Star-Flare Lance, or else those rare moments when he needs rest and is secreted away in his quarters. It is at these times that Midshipman Bligh can often be found at the helm of the Lumen, piloting the vessel with capable and reliable skill.
