Commander of the Hos Dynasty Pathfinders Scout Platoon, Lieutenant Ward is a quiet, solemn man who takes his duty to the Emperor and the Lord-Captain very seriously. A man of few words, those outside of his Platoon the only person who has ever heard him speak has been Arch-Militant Caine, who appointed him to this position.

His Pathfinders were first bloodied when repelling the diplomacy-turned-boarding action led by Kap’n Hammertoof. Following the action, he personally saw to the posthumous award and funeral rights for his fallen subordinate.
